Helen joined us as Touchstone’s Managing Director in January 2017.
She's passionate about making people's experience of renting the very best it can be. As increasing numbers turn to the private rented sector, she believes customers should expect a quality product and professional experience when renting.
Results driven, Helen is focused on growing Touchstone's business, while also ensuring our customers and clients receive the very highest levels of service and expertise.
Helen’s extensive commercial experience provides a new, exciting perspective to the company. Her career to date has included working for some of the UK’s largest and well-known retailers, including Aldi and Somerfield. Before joining Touchstone, Helen was Sales Director at Compass Group, a market leader in contract catering and FM support services.
Her retail background means she really understands what makes great customer service. She believes by providing the pinnacle of customer experience, we deliver customer satisfaction and the best returns for our clients.
Always looking for new ways to do things more efficiently, Helen is an advocate of using new technology not only make things easier, but to improve our customer, client and staff experience.

Simon’s understanding of the operational side of property management has been key to our success, giving our clients regular, accurate financial information as well as ensuring we meet all RICS compliance requirements.
Since joining the business in 1994 as a qualified accountant, Simon has also led on a number of short-term projects, managing the financial controls and operations of portfolios taken into administration by a range of funders.
He has developed our Client and Corporate Accounts teams to provide advanced levels of operational and financial reporting through to the provision of draft statutory accounts for a range of clients. Both the type of data held and the style of performance reporting is evolving to meet the requirements of the new build-to-rent sector.

With over 25 years’ experience in the sector, Jon has worked across a range of operations, client-facing and business development roles.
In his current role as Sales Director, he has overseen the take-on and management of a range of Multi and Single-family portfolios, for a wide range of landlords, from housebuilders to the new wave of residential investors.
Jon has a comprehensive understanding of the steps needed to assess new purchases, create marketing strategies for multiple new-build units, and set up build to rent management services, all based onhis experience of managing a diverse portfolio and client base.
He has sat on the BPF’s Residential and Residential Management Committees, and contributes as a speaker at various industry events.

Joining as a member of our property refurbishment team in 1995, James left in 1998 to gain experience in a local letting agency, before returning in 2000 to manage buy-to-let properties taken into receivership. He was appointed joint LPA receiver in 2008 and became a director in 2010.
He has implemented new systems, procedures, controls and organised staffing to maximise property performance and minimise risk to lenders and receivers in a fast-changing economic climate.
James is now responsible for the wide range of services provided by Touchstone to mortgage lenders, and the range of back office services provided to others within the property industry.

Leading our maintenance and compliance capabilities since joining Touchstone in 2013, Tristram is responsible for health and safety, compliance, surveying, inspections and maintenance across the business. He also leads on mobilisation and compliance across our Build to Rent portfolio.
Tristram has developed our national team of property surveyors and inspectors alongside a Compliance team that provides support across the business. With experience of both refurbishment and new-build capital projects, as well as maintenance, repairs and compliance, Tristram has a particular focus on health and safety for residential property and contractors.
He has considerable knowledge of liaising with main contractors and managing the resolution of defects and building claims, including taking legal action where necessary.

Joining us in 2007 and leading the Client Accounts team since 2009, Stacey oversees the processing of all transactional activity for rental income and client expenditure as well as deposit management.
She also manages our client bank accounts and liaises both with our clients and their auditors. With in-depth knowledge of our Qube data system, she plays a key role in setting up new clients on our core systems, managing the transfer of information from other systems of tenanted portfolios transferred into Touchstone’s management, or taking over third party systems when we are appointed by a receiver.
Stacey works closely with the Sales team offering new, innovative ways to develop our suite of accounting and operational reports, generate KPI data and submit data to IPD on behalf of our clients, to ensure Touchstone always deliver what they need.

Having originally joined Touchstone in 1997, Rachel returned in 2004 after gaining valuable experience with a high street lettings agent, to oversee the “take-on” and management of a variety of portfolios including bank, retail, investment and buy-to-let residential stock.
She is now part of our Corporate Portfolio Management senior team, helping clients to maximise performance and develop and shape their portfolios.
Rachel has vast experience in managing growing regional portfolios for various investment clients. She has significant expertise in dealing with house builders and managing the transition of new-build units to a stabilised rented product, as well as creating marketing strategies for large new-build sites.
